Sensual Spring Sprouts

Rate: 14 Flag

stucco sprout

                        From Deep within Mother Earth

                        A single force manifests.

                         Milky green at first

                          Pushing through and up,

                          Eternally yearning

                          For the light.

I like these! The compositions seem Picasso-like, or even tribal, in their primordial sculpting and raw energy.

I love both your poems and your art.

Nice I love your new direction..
Fantastic and riveting look at springtime.
You did these???
WOW!!!

LOVE THEM!!!
Zanelle, thank you for your meaningful comments; do appreciate it.
Love your work -- such a gift to have language and images work us at that delicate membrane behind our eyes, and in the same moment, scratch that place behind the heart -- so dexterous, true and engaging.
Trust me, I will be here again. Love your work. I especially appreciate those first sprouts cracking through earth -- we're early this year; but it is exciting for me, as we are having the most mild winter in 50 years or so. Please give us more.
Your energy blesses the Earth and all living things!
Wow- your perspective and way of seeing things never ceases to amaze me
Your artwork is stunning! What are they made of? They look solid but also delicate. I love the colors.
Beautiful, as always. Your art is so well executed. I love it!
I think your artwork is incredible. ~r
I agree with ASH... very Piccaso like.
Are these with the cement board? I like the way the green sprout is almost hiding, yet bursting out - there's an irresistible force meets immovable object feeling here. Of course the force will always find a way around the object, that's the nature of life. Like the green sprouts that appeared in the ashes of Mt St Helen's.
I like your poetry and this medium you’re working in.
