Spirals/ The beginning of an OS Fiction Club Novel

Rate: 5 Flag

The grey clouds crowded Sansu's mind until the sun broke through.  She saw the flowers shake off the raindrops as she tripped lightly down the path avoiding the big puddles left over from the storm.  It was marvelous how life circled around and then rose up a level.  Like a slinky, Sansu's life was a series of spirals that moved clunkily down the stairs of time, flipped over and stopped only to be started again by the little child inside her playing with reality.

I really loved your image of the Slinky toy - I've been watching an ad on TV lately with a Slinky going down an escalator. There's a lot of hope here. Let's have more, please!
Spirals... I don' need no stinkin' spirals... I been wandering around in circles in the dark all my life... don' tell me about no stinkin' spirals! R&R, great colorful pics ;-)
my goodness, this is steal-worthy, for me..
this really fits my current mood indeed..
"It was marvelous how life circled around and then rose up a level."

shows us the way.

innocence never dies.

experience tries to smother it in the cradle,
and this never ever works,
in this world
or the next, for some alas, not u.
Bouncing and whirling along with this, Zanelle. I love the spirit and the details. Will this be your novel or the club's?
The only problem with such a small sampling is that it literally could go anywhere. It's a bit of a tease. Rated of course.
