A friend just posted a link to a great series that can be watched online. I'm rather excited about it myself and thought a few of you might even like it. Or not. It's a 12 part series on one of Harvard's most popular courses that asks the questions "What's the right thing to do? What do you think and why?" about today's issues like same-sex marriage and patriotism for starters.
Come check it out and see if it doesn't excite you a little too.

You're welcome, all! I'm glad to see this much interest!
I watched the vid though Z and found it interesting. These kind of discussions need to be had, especially amongst our next generation of leaders. I'm going to go out on a limb here and presume Dick Cheney slept through this class, or just skipped it altogether in favor of tormenting small animals.
It IS way cool that the esteemed Harvard University would offer this for free on-line. The way of the future? I hope so. Many could benefit. If everyone were made to think these issues through at a young age I would venture that we would have a more moral and just society.
Thanks!
My son is a junior in high school and is TAG (talented and gifted). He's taking two college courses this semester. I just got off the course with his gifted advocacy teacher and gave her the website link you provided. She gushed thank yous and says she will likely use the Harvard course in her class.
So good on you for this posting. Might have made a real difference.
Even a small difference for the good helps...
And it's just Zashin to you. :)
