Just This

Rate: 15 Flag

There's a time when I see something so sublime and do not jack up the photo too much, that there is nothing else needed.

Forget the location.
Forget the technical details.
Forget the flaws.
Forget the art and science of composition.
Forget that it is too big for this stupid screen

Just savor the moment.

Thank you, Zuma. ♥
Yeah, that is a cool image.
Oh yeah..

Rated for sublime savoriness..
Nice one, general. I hate that the screen width for images is so dint, but I thinking get this.
Should have been "think I get this." stupid autocorrect. Didn't look.
I dont know how you got that size on here but it looks fantastic.
Excellent!
HUGGGGGGGGGGG
Thanks, all!

It's from Photobucket, and I am not about to let OS reach into my computer. The smaller size is too small, so I let the big 1000 by 600 bomb on through!
Femme: The autocorrect is KILLING me too! Worse, I keep hitting some key that pops the screen down when I'm in the middle of typing.

Arrrgh.
hmmm, makes me want to grab paint and have a go
A big bold statement. I love it. Gutsy.
That one really speaks to me, too.

Thanks some more, all! I love this technology that allows us to share these things right away before we can pick at them.
I love the technology that allows us to take pictures everywhere allatime. In fact, I plan to do a post on how it has affected the way I look at things...

Your image, for instance - dunno what you took it on, but little old plain digitals and, tho this isn't within my experience, phones can take wonderful shots, so that we're all photographers now.
Myriad: I was going to spring for a basic phone and a better camera. But it dawned on me that there is no photography while bumbling around with a bulky camera when the smart phone is in my HAND!

These are my first 8 MP photos ever, and this was taken at Peter J. Shields Library at UC Davis. When I got the nerve to walk into the lobby and saw this...I was lost in love with being able to see and to share this with all of you.
