Tags I Use
Yes, I use some strange tags, and sure, part of the intent is to be funny (this is almost always part of my intent), but there's a more practical reason, too: it more easily allows me to go back and look at what I've written on a given topic. So here are the specific tags I use to organize my writing:
- Is Robert Reich Still Locked in the Cabinet? - For posts about the cabinet, nominations, and Robert Reich and his book, should that situation ever arise.
- Congress is like MTV's The Real World only with More Crazy. For posts about Congress.
- Can Keith Olbermann Just Adopt Me Already? For posts about Keith Olbermann or MSNBC at large.
- Maureen Dowd Needs to Go Away. Seriously. Right now.
- Is Bailout One Word or Two? Posts on the bank bailout and, if it should ever come to pass, the porn bailout.
- Beep beep. Posts on the auto industry and its ongoing bailouts.
- All the Senators from Kansas are Crazy. Mostly intended for Sam Brownback, but from time to time extended to include Bob Dole and Arlen Specter (born in Russell, Kansas).
- I attend the Church of the New York Times. Posts on journalism, newspapers, and, but of course, The New York Times.
- Government for Grownups. For the ongoing series.
- The Pottery Barn Wars. For posts about Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Global War on Terror thing.
- 2010: Game On! For posts about the 2010 elections.
- There Are Other Countries. Foreign affairs.
