&lt;p&gt;It is no disrespect to Mr. Broccoli's feelings to point out that he is woefully misinformed about&amp;nbsp; "guns doing you no good" (re: Columbine)&amp;nbsp; It has been studiously established that guns prevemt something like a million crimes (assaults, rapes, etc) per year.&amp;nbsp; Since nothing happens in those cases, there are no alarming headllines, (other than "mugger shot dead")&amp;nbsp; It is simply not "news", but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.&amp;nbsp; Why do you suppose Police carry sidearms?&amp;nbsp; They are not there for the purpose of killing people, but to prevent that. disigny&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Scientific Method is cool; it really works!&amp;nbsp; Why don't the Religious try it?&amp;nbsp; If you can at least theoretically resolve all the appalling Paradoxes in Christianity, you could end up with a theory that makes sense, and is intellectually respectable.&amp;nbsp; I am not suggesting that "Atheists" are intellectually respectable, far from it; they usually just ignore paradoxes and hope they'll go away.&amp;nbsp; At least, they are honest enough not to revel in them.&amp;nbsp; Where you can't tell the difference between a Jesuit and a Buddhist, you're getting warm..disgny&lt;/p&gt;
