His father George attempted to defeat Richard Nixon in the Republican primary in 1968 and left before his first date with the polls, defeated by his own mistakes and misgivings that aroused among more conservative voters. George was re-elected three times as governor of Michigan (1963-1969) and quote you is a double-edged sword for Mitt. Not only because of the failure of his candidacy but because both have very divergent profiles. George was a principled politician and Mitt has been molded by his own electoral challenge: in Massachusetts was a moderate governor demanded it because the state's progressive profile and now makes every effort to present himself as a conservative leader. Some observers see these shifts in a conditioned reflex of the candidate by the defeat of his father. A George not toppled Nixon's pragmatism but a verbal incontinence whose zenith came with his famous words about Vietnam in August 1967. At first the governor had defended the intervention persuaded by a visit to Southeast Asia. But just before launching his campaign changed his mind and announced in a television interview: "After returning from Vietnam, I realized that he had suffered the greatest brainwashing that anybody can suffer." George Romney's words shook the campaign as an earthquake. Someone capable of undergoing brainwashing could not run for president in the dark years of the Cold War. The candidate tried to make amends by undertaking a second trip to Vietnam. In vain and 44 years ago George Romney announced that threw in the towel. The loss left an indelible mark on the young Mitt, who followed the campaign of George from the French village where he served as a Mormon missionary. Before he had helped his father in his campaigns in 1964 and had accompanied him to the convention where George left the plenary to protest the candidate Barry Goldwater's opposition to racial desegregation. That and other details led rivals to portray him as a politician surly and coining a slogan against his inflexibility: "God is alive and is thought to be George Romney". It is impossible to draw a profile of the candidate's father without highlighting its status as a Mormon, which forced him to be born in a Mexican community of exiles and exercise as a missionary in the most miserable of Glasgow. George never graduated from college. But he managed to thrive even chairing a car company and to convince his girlfriend Lenore he left a promising career as an actress in Hollywood. His children recall that George and Lenore never stopped arguing. But George also brought her a rose every day to his wife. She tried to win a seat in the Senate in November 1970 and his candidacy succumbed driven by a handful of sexist attacks. George Romney died of a heart attack in 1995 and is buried with his wife in a cemetery in Michigan. Among his writings is a letter to Barry Goldwater conservative that includes this paragraph: "The parties with strong ideological dogmatism have to split the social fabric of a nation, lead to governmental crises and strong abort the agreements necessary to preserve freedom" . These words remind your child the challenge and take on a special resonance in this campaign marked by polarization.

The actor is currently in negotiations with Columbia Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter. He could play Electro, a villain capable of manipulating electricity. Spider-Man 2 will again be directed by Marc Webb. Andrew Garfield who plays Spider-Man also piles up again. Electro is one of the oldest enemies of Spider-Man. It appears for the first time in the comic book The Amazing Spider-Man 9, distributed in February 1964. Whose real name is Maxwell Dillon, he worked as a lineman for a power company, until he is more or less shock. This shock into the villain with powers. Jamie Foxx could therefore put the costume Electro particularly elegant green with yellow flames on the head, legs and arms. To stir the rumor, the actor confessed on the social network Twitter have disguised as the character for Halloween, adding that "the costume (it was) good." Jamie Foxx was unfortunately not published picture to support his claims. Dressed up for Halloween as Electro last night. Costume fits well.

In the document, the former controller replicates some of the statements of the President of the Junta de Andalucía to the commission of inquiry and said that if anyone had to "grab the extinguisher" to douse the fire of the ERE, this was precisely Griñan as Minister of Finance. Blaming the intervention would, in his opinion, "infamous" and "grotesque." The purpose of the memorandum, received on Wednesday in Parliament and who has had access THE WORLD of Andalusia, is to clear any shadow of suspicion on the role of intervention and "define, clarify and refute" some of the interpretations made by others appearing on his statement to the commission of inquiry, especially ones whose author claims no appointment but satisfy Griñán. The president of the Andalusian testified before the commission of inquiry into questions of IU [page 20 of the minutes of his appearance]: "(…) not detected Intervention say fire. (…) If there Intervention detected fire would have been turned off, because they have the means. . . to put out fires. (…) The intervention, if it detects irregularities, fraud or impairment of public funds is one that has to give the alarm and arouse the proper procedure, "said Grin. Well, the former auditor notes that the author of these claims unknown section 110 of the Public Finance Act, which requires the employment minister, responsible hierarchical Working CEO that managed the slush fund, and counselor Treasury, as authorizing officer, to act in cases of impairment of funds. The law requires "not only to communicate the assumptions of impairment they know, but to take precautionary measures in defense of the rights of the Treasury." "In other words, says the Auditor-which should not only have been sounded but have caught fire extinguisher." In the time that audited the management of the Agency IDEA, paying of early retirement that adjudicated the Department of Employment, the auditor warned at least 15 times of irregularities in the proceedings and made their reports, three members without anyone adopt the recommendations . When the scandal broke, far from acknowledging that the auditor warned of what was happening, the PSOE clung to the view that the intervention did not warn of anything since its audits never reached the level of "performance report". Throughout the 63-page report, former auditor again insisted Intervention-General defended the same approach in its submissions to the report of the Chamber of Auditors on the ERE-that the report of action was inappropriate, since the I was being audited entity was the IDEA Agency and this is outside the scope of this report.

A day full of lengthy discussions and debates was behind the 250 fans and fan representatives from 49 clubs. But the discussion and vote at the exact wording of the final declaration of each set had lasted more than two hours. But it was worth it: The two-page, hard-won document is at least a tangible result of the fan summit on violence in Berlin. Concrete decisions or actions were not taken, however. But that was not the purpose of the event – so far it is not a long time. Rather, it was about the muddled fronts between league managers and fans something to soften and another to get into substantive conversation. It was about "verbal disarmament" as designated managing director of the German Football League (DFL) Andreas Rettig formulated. Spontaneously, he had asked the organizers to participate. An important sign. Because a central point of the Congress was the DFL-concept paper on "Safe stadium experience," the first draft of several clubs had refused. The 32-page position paper was developed after the security summit in July and the interior ministers of DFL and DFB and includes among other things a list of penalties for violent fans. Criticism of the security paper DFLPolitik and police had, however – allegedly because they were not invited – not seek to participate in the Congress. Much to the dismay of those present. "DFB and DFL representatives have shown that one needed no invitation. All could have come, "said Christian work, spokesman for the host first FC Union Berlin. Behind closed doors, one participant commented: "The government representatives have to understand finally that capacity for dialogue is not to look for whenever a microphone if you want to once again proclaim a hard-line demand. "The dialogue in turn, kept the fans firmly in the document, as well as their determination to participate in a democratic way of decision-making processes of the DFL. They also demand the policy of the paper, "not to use the football to distract attention from political failures in other areas." On the subject of football "to make an example of the clubs abzuverlangen the solutions most complicated social problems" was "unfair to the highest degree, and as short-sighted," it said. Also the discussions in Berlin made clear again: The fans feel ignored and excluded – and see themselves also faced with threats such as the abolition of the standing room. On this basis, the DFL-security paper have their opinion no chance of success. Originally, the league was on 12 December vote on their concept. Even before the summit fans and clubs had made it clear that this event was not observed in their view. Enough they were involved, too little voice would be granted them. Rettig: "" transportation of the error message "This paper should be gekloppt in the bin. There shall be no vote, as this concept has no acceptance. One should start from scratch, "said Sven Brux, safety officer of FC St. Pauli. In his view, the violence has increased in the stadiums not in principle: "If there was so much violence, as claimed, then we could have the biggest crowds in Europe, the rise also still employed? If the stadiums uncertain, people would stay away. "This opinion is shared by many fans: More than 20 000 supporters of different clubs have been included in a list, the more recently from the Dortmund fan initiative was "I Feel safe" on the Internet. With the action they want to make it clear that they are not afraid to go to the stadium and the violence debate is covered in her eyes. Nevertheless, the issue of violence in light of recent incidents at the Ruhr derby between Schalke and Dortmund and the images of rioting Cup match Dynamo Dresden in Hanover not be completely hidden. Fanforscher Jonas Gabler believes whoever seeking violence in football, they'll find there also – or can provoke: "In my view it would be desirable if it would finally come to a proper debate about violence in society and in football," he told SPIEGEL ONLINE. Although that night everyone was trying to open dialogue, it was again apparent that between league and fans are significant communication problems – DFL-man Rettig called it a mutual "perception error" or "Error in transporting the message." Gabler said, "It is clearer than ever that there is a huge need for discussion. Unclear, however, who is at the end about the actual procedure on safety in football has the power of decision. "Probably the most important finding was that the Summit: Everyone wants to talk, but no one knows who.

Having recently announced the removal of 15% of its workforce in France, the telecommunications group released Friday a net loss of 146 million in the third quarter. This is well above analysts' forecasts, which projected 108 million. From July to September, the group suffered an operating loss adjusted 125 million, while revenues fell 2.8% year on year to 3.59 billion euros. However, a decline more limited than analysts forecast that anticipated a decline of 6.5%. The action Alcatel-Lucent loses over 6% in early trade on the Paris Stock Exchange on Friday. "The time is firmness" These poor figures will not improve the climate in the French group. In mid-October, it was announced the elimination of not less than 1. 430 posts 9. 000 in France. "This is a blow over in France, a human catastrophe and industrial", was sorry then the CFDT. To explain this restructuring, Ben Verwaayen, the CEO of Alcatel-Lucent, had argued that the "cost structure [Group Editor's note] is not adapted to the new reality of the market" by announcing his " Program Performance "at the end of July. Before adding that "we must be realistic now is the time to firmness."
