What's the big picture of globallization? What is the end game of these multi-national corporations and the klepocrats who control them? They can't possibly think that they can continue to grind the American middle and working classes down, thereby killing the consumer engine that drives their incredible wealth engine.... can they?

Well, OF COURSE, they can.

You see, there was a reason that the decision was made to engage in the decades long process of "opening new markets", and "free trade". These corporations really did, after all, really want to improve the standard of living in the un- and under- developed world. But, of course, there wasn't altruism involved. The vast majority of the Rand acolytes who sit atop these majick mountains of gold don't even believe that there's any such ting as altruism.

No, the masters of the universe knew they had pretty much "matured" the vast consumer market that they'd been busily exploiting in America for the last seven decades. It was time to "develop new markets". So they've done that. They've raised the standard of living and expectations all across the third world, but particularly in Asia, and specifically in China. With the full collusion of the supposedly communist/socialist government of the ridiculously Orwellian named "People's" Republic of China, multi national corporations are busily shifting the locus of their profit centers to the newly emerging consumer class of China. In other words: They don't need you any more, American consumer. You've been outsourced along with your jobs, your wealth, and your country.

That was the plan all along and it's already a done deal. They've got the remains of the American working and middle class right where they want them: scared, divided, unable to fight back or resist and utterly and completely dependent on whatever meager handouts their corporate masters are willing to let "trickle down" to them. They'll keep the vast majority of this country's population under control by shifting their jobs around from desperate place to desperate place in a mad race to the bottom, starving local government institutions of any level of reasonably adequate funding along the way. With an increasingly militarized police force to "keep order" and ever increasing incarceration rates to warehouse the unruly or unwilling, they'll keep enough serfs available to man the fast food take out windows and serve them.

That, my friends, is the "end game". They don't care whether you can consume any more. They don't need you. They have a billion new consumers.
