Dazipea's Bloghttp://open.salon.com/user.php?uid=22937Fri, 1 Jun 2012 04:06:02 -0400 <p>I do alot for my kids.&nbsp; I take them where they need to go without griping about it.&nbsp; I keep the cupboards full of nutritional food.&nbsp; I make sure they are involved in sports, do good in school, etc.&nbsp; One area I lack is spending time with them.&nbsp; Oh, they are always there but sitting down with them and actually chatting, playing board games, or&nbsp;even helping them with&nbsp;their homework&nbsp;is so hard for me to do.&nbsp; Im not totally out of it, just more so than I would like to be.&nbsp;&nbsp; Well tonight, I just sat in my daughter's room with her while she slowly picked up her things and talked.&nbsp; It was soooooo nice.&nbsp; At one point I went to get up to leave and she said where are you going?&nbsp; I sat right back down and took what I could get.&nbsp; I usually look forward to my Saturday evenings watching 48 hours Mystery, this was so much better!</p> http://open.salon.com/blog/dazipea/2009/03/14/time_with_your_kidshttp://open.salon.com/blog/dazipea/2009/03/14/time_with_your_kidsSun, 15 Mar 2009 00:03:00 -0400
