I do alot for my kids. I take them where they need to go without griping about it. I keep the cupboards full of nutritional food. I make sure they are involved in sports, do good in school, etc. One area I lack is spending time with them. Oh, they are always there but sitting down with them and actually chatting, playing board games, or even helping them with their homework is so hard for me to do. Im not totally out of it, just more so than I would like to be. Well tonight, I just sat in my daughter's room with her while she slowly picked up her things and talked. It was soooooo nice. At one point I went to get up to leave and she said where are you going? I sat right back down and took what I could get. I usually look forward to my Saturday evenings watching 48 hours Mystery, this was so much better!
