Jaeger and I - LBJ, Nixon and Ford - He set a high bar for dogs to follow.

My Dad and Emerson - Carter and Reagan - In my "minds ear" I can still hear my Dad calling "Emer time for a treat".... I miss them both.

Maddie Girl - Bush Sr. and Clinton - The Irony was she was abandoned and then after being rescued she was stolen from my backyard by a lady who crawled over a fence into my locked back yard and lifted her up and over to an accomplice. My neighbor saw it happen and called the police but they never caught the people who stole her. She was so great.

Mr. Fritz - Clinton and Gw Bush - Cancer Sucks, he was a sweet sweet friend. We lost him 4 years ago.

Molly Muffin - Clinton and Gw Bush - I was only supposed to foster her for three nights because their was no room at the shelter. She was with us for 15 years. She "worked" in my art gallery every day. She loved everyone. Her passing was really tough for our 5 year old son.

Penny Girl- Gw Bush and Obama - She will not give up trying to negotiate peace with our cat.

GiGi - "Gw Bush" and Obama - who could turn down these eyes? This is how I always get one more dog..... She had one day left before being euthanized - we were told her name was Penny but we already had a Penny so she became our GiGi. She is a "cuddle monster" of epic magnitude with everyone (except our cat).

Republicans Slam Obama For Not Wearing Brazilian Flag Pin

Conservative Republican Bill Kristol extorts that you are either “with Brazil” or “with the United States”. “Where is the Presidents’ Brazilian Flag Pin?” shouts Bill Kristol – spraying the camera lens with spittle. Kristol actually showed signs of giddiness that Brazil had beaten the bid of the United States to host the Olympic Games. Kristol queried, “How is it that the President of the United States is so unwilling to join us in proudly wearing a Brazilian Flag pin?”

In related flag pin news - South Carolina’s Republican Senator Jim DeMint is calling out President Obama for not sharing his love of wearing a Honduran Flag Pin. Jim DeMint has taken extraordinary measures for a planned trip to Honduras in total defiance of U.S. policy. The Senator plans to support the Honduras’ coup-installed president (and possibly score a few boxes of U.S. embargoed Cuban cigars at the same time). DeMint defiantly states, “If I can’t raise the Confederate Flag over my own home State’s Capitol, I might as well just raise a foreign flag somewhere else”

No one can say that DeMint is not a True Honduran-Coup Patriot

In yet more flag news – In a column for Townhall.com, Huckabee supporter and conservative Republican activist, Chuck Norris, has called on fellow tea partiers to quit using the Modern American Flag or, if they feel they must use the 50 star flag, to only use one that has been desecrated with tea stains. (Apparently, Chuck Norris was not “in the know” that Brazilian and Honduran Flags are now the hot property of the Neo-GOP.) Norris admits that the idea of 50 stars is just too difficult for the average tea bagger, and recommends using a flag with fewer stars that is more manageable.

Bloopers and Boehners, John needs you to introduce yourself!

House Republican Leader, John Boehner, claimed today that he had not met any "regular Americans" who were in favor of a public option - despite polls showing a majority of Americans and Doctors are in favor of just such a public option.

This is obviously a desperate cry for help. During all his tea-bagging escapades he obviously didn't meet any "regular Americans" and is baffled to know what one must really be like. Please help John as he reaches out for assistance from his lofty Ivory Tower. John Boehner desires "regular Americans" who are in support of the public option to introduce themselves to him - since he has lived a very sheltered life as a Washington insider and celebrity astro-turfer. John is so lonely in his isolation and really needs your help to break him free of his self imposed shackles of ignorance.

"I'm still trying to find the first American to talk to who's in favor of the public option, other than a member of Congress or the administration" said Boehner.

John Boehner is looking forward to your introduction! Even if you live outside of his district you may contact him via email to say hello, introduce yourself, and tell him that it is now time to publicly retract his statement as he has "met you", a regular American in favor of the public option. I took up John's desperate "call for help" , won't you join me?

Corporations to fund push for return of Debtor's Prisons

Having watched the full force and funding of anti-health care reform, I say, "Just wait 'till The Greedy Face of Corporate America funds a push for a reversal of the 1833 end of Federal Debtor's Prisons." That would certainly provide them a source of ultra cheap labor through inmate work programs. And with record numbers of folks going into debt because of medical bills they will have quite a pool to pull from.

Republicans Protest SoCal Firefighter Socialist Agenda

In what has been described as a grass-roots movement turned grass-fire movement, Republicans everywhere are standing up against Socialist Firefighters bent on undoing the will of God. The vast majority of Americans will never use the Socialized Service of Government run fire departments. Staunch GOP voters are now repeating the question of, “Why should anyone (including “welfare queens", illegal aliens, and NPR listeners) be able to dial 911 and have a fire put out?” The chairman of the Republican National Committee (his name has been withheld since he is no longer authorized to speak to the media) puts it this way. “We are tired of the Government getting between us and our firefighters. We believe in the private free market. Americans, especially the elderly, know that a private “Haliburton” style department battling fires with small plastic bottled water supplied by “KBR” style contractors is a better approach to any emergency. Our Grass-fire movement members (called “Burnies”) are especially outraged by the encroaching communism of Volunteer Fire Fighting Collectives. Volunteer groups are precisely the cause of the downfall of the Romanov family in Russia. To paraphrase the great Ronald Reagan, "Mr. Obama, tear these VFDs down!"

When questioned about how such privatization would work, we received the following answer, “It’s simple - when you have the need for emergency services, you provide an Independent Fire Protection Contractor with a certified copy of your birth certificate. After verification of your birth certificate, they will run a credit check through three different credit bureaus to determine your raw Fico score. Based on the result, they will determine what type of financing you will be eligible for in order to pay for them to put out your fire. After you have been qualified (or declined – if you have poor credit or a pre-existing fire) with your Independent Fire Protection Contractor, you will start the process all over again with your Independent Water Supply Contract Provider. At this point the Independent Fire Protection Contractor will verify that the Independent Free Market Fire Elimination Specialist Service Provider you selected is “in network”. We just know that this system makes much more sense than dialing 911 and have a bunch of Socialists show up.”
